Archiving Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Archiving Policy defines the principles and practices established to ensure the long-term digital preservation and sustainable access to content published in peer-reviewed journals by Numanlu. The policy applies to peer-reviewed journals published under Numanlu.

2. Long-Term Preservation Commitment

Numanlu considers the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of peer-reviewed journal content to be a fundamental publishing responsibility. The permanence of published content and the continuity of the scholarly record are therefore prioritized.

3. Digital Archiving Infrastructure

Peer-reviewed journals published by Numanlu through PKP’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform are digitally preserved via the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). PKP PN is a digital preservation infrastructure based on the LOCKSS Program and supports the long-term preservation of journal content.

4. Continuity of Access

Archiving practices aim to ensure continued access to previously published content even if a journal ceases publication or becomes temporarily unavailable. This approach supports the reliability and continuity of the scholarly record.

5. Integrity and Record Maintenance

The integrity of archived journal content is maintained. Any corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern are appropriately linked to the original publication records to ensure transparency of the scholarly record.
