Open-Access Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

Numanlu adopts the free availability of academic knowledge and the support of scholarly communication through an open-access model as a core publishing principle. This Open-Access Policy defines the open-access approach applicable to all academic content published by Numanlu.

In accordance with the Diamond Open Access model, Numanlu makes academic content freely available to readers and does not operate a model based on mandatory publication fees charged to authors.

2. Open-Access Principle

All academic content published by Numanlu is made available online to readers without technical, legal, or financial barriers. Readers may access and read published content free of charge and use it in accordance with the applicable licensing terms.

3. Author Rights

Under Numanlu’s open-access publishing model, authors retain the copyright to their works. Author rights and conditions for reuse are defined in detail in the relevant Copyright and Licensing Policy.

4. Access and Availability

Numanlu aims to ensure the long-term availability of open-access content. Technical and institutional practices related to access and continuity are addressed in the Archiving Policy.

5. Transparency and Compliance

Numanlu’s open-access practices are implemented in accordance with international scholarly publishing standards. The open-access policy is applied in alignment with publication ethics principles and is based on transparency.

Numanlu does not charge authors mandatory article processing charges (APCs), book processing charges (BPCs), or similar publication fees for the evaluation, publication, or open-access availability of articles or books. Voluntary donations may be accepted to support the sustainability of its publishing activities; such donations have no influence on editorial evaluation or publication decisions.

6. Publishing Model and Financial Independence

Numanlu operates as a non-profit organization and conducts its academic publishing activities in accordance with the principles of public benefit, scholarly communication, and open access. Its publishing activities may be supported through institutional support, donations, and other lawful and transparent sources.

Financial support or donations do not influence the evaluation of content, editorial decisions, peer-review processes, or the selection of works for publication.
